Matus Kvietok is a research lab technician III with the laboratory of the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center. In this role, he performs day-to-day activities related to routine biochemical, molecular, and histopathologic laboratory procedures involving human postmortem and antemortem biospecimens in support of several multi-disciplinary research studies of aging and Alzheimer’s Disease. Matus began working at the RADC in December, 2016. Before working with the RADC, he earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology from Concordia University in River Forest, IL and worked as a laboratory intern in the Earth Science division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California.
