Wenqing Fan is a senior statistician with the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center. She writes programs to review data and carry out statistical analysis for investigators at RADC. Fan assists investigators with power calculations for grant proposals and in interpreting output, and in developing critiquing graphs to communicate the results. She also checks manuscripts for accuracy, and prepares clear written documentation of programs, methods, and summaries of analysis and results. Fan joined Rush as a statistician in 1999 with the Institute of Healthy Aging. She worked at the Movement Disorder Center in the Department of Neurological Science at Rush from 2002 to 2007. During that time she was more involved in power analysis for grant proposals and draft of method part of manuscript. In addition to working at Rush, also spent time working outside of Rush at pharmaceutical and clinical research consultancy companies to gain more experience in clinical trial studies. Fan received her MS degree in mathematics from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.
