RUSH offers several collaboration tools to keep our university community connecting and innovating from anywhere.
For students
RUSH students have two options available for web-based collaboration:
Zoom
- Your basic account allows you to host up to 100 participants, with a 40-minute limit on group meetings.
- One-on-one meetings have no time limit.
- Get started at rush.zoom.us.

Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Teams offers web and video conferencing capabilities through your Office 365 account, with no restrictions.
- Get started at office.com using your RUSH login and password.

For faculty and staff
RUSH professionals have three options available for web-based collaboration:
Zoom
- University faculty and staff can access a Pro account for Zoom.
- Host up to 300 participants with a meeting duration limit of 24 hours.
- Teaching faculty can launch Zoom through Canvas.
- All other staff members can call 3-CLAS (312-563-2527) to request a license.
- Zoom licenses will be automatically deactivated after 60 days of inactivity.
Microsoft Teams
- All RUSH employees have access to Microsoft Teams through their Office 365 account.
- Microsoft Teams offers web and video conferencing capabilities, with no restrictions.
WebEx
- All RUSH employees can request a WebEx account through the Service Portal.
- WebEx licenses will be automatically deactivated after 60 days of inactivity.
