Mission
RUSH Students for Global Health is dedicated to increasing awareness of current global health issues and professional development opportunities, and to collaborating across health care professions to address local and global health inequities. This organization seeks to introduce and cultivate an interest in global health within the RUSH University community through lectures and forums, and by advertising international medical experiences available to RUSH University students and health care professionals. It welcomes students from all colleges with interest or experience in global health and health inequities in our own local community.
RUSH Students for Global Health collaborates with the RUSH University Department of Global Health to host multiple events throughout the year. Events include Global Health Week in the Spring term, and lectures, panels, and forums throughout the academic year.
