Rush University Physician Assistant Student Society

Mission

The Rush University Physician Assistant Student Society is a student run society that was created to serve as the official organization for the students of the Rush University Physician Assistant Studies Program, to promote academic achievement and clinical excellence, and to promote the physician assistant as a member of the health care delivery team. The Rush University Physician Assistant Studies Program strives to be a nationally recognized leader in PA education, training highly qualified physician assistants to assume leadership roles in clinical and professional practice. As a society we work to uphold this vision and to increase the awareness and understanding of both Rush University’s PA program and the profession. Our goal will be met by seeking and maintaining leadership positions throughout the university, actively participating in academic events, and adopting a strong commitment to community service.
