No matter how you get to Rush, there are a number of transportation benefits available just for students. Various parking options, shuttles, Divvy bikes and an abundance of shuttle services are just some of the conveniences available.
Below are a number of transportation benefits and related rates specifically for students. Check back periodically for updated shuttle schedules and transportation information. In addition, make sure to view our transportation map for various routes, parking lots/garages, shuttle stops and bike racks.
Parking
Parking facilities are available to Rush students in either of the two main parking garages at Rush (1641 W. Harrison St. or 711 S. Paulina St.) for $40 per month (plus a $3o deposit for an electronic transponder). Student parking is also available for $25 per month (plus a $30 deposit for an electronic transponder) in the Ogden-Wood lot located between Ogden Avenue and Wood Street.
- Sign up at orientation or anytime Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the parking garage office (located on the fourth floor inside the main parking garage, near the skywalk to Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush).
- A $30 deposit is required (check, cash or parking free credit). Bring your Rush ID badge.
- Enroll anytime.

Commuter Shuttle
Do you take the commuter train to Chicago? Take advantage of the free shuttle service to and from the commuter hubs at Ogilvie and Union Stations — just show your Rush ID when you board. Read more about Rush's Metra shuttle service, including a schedule.

Day and remote shuttles
Need a way to get around campus or to the outer parking lots? Live at Tailor Lofts and need a ride home? Take advantage of the daytime and remote shuttles, which take students, free of charge, to various stops around campus and in the local vicinity. Just show your Rush ID when you board! Exact routes and schedules can be found via the Parking link on InsideRush.
Divvy bike stations
Students receive a discounted Divvy bike rate of $83 per year. Divvy is Chicago's bike-sharing system, and a Divvy bike station is located on campus at the corner of Ashland and Harrison. To sign up, and for more information, visit the Student Life page on the RushUPortal.
Bike racks
Bike racks are located across the campus. The main parking garage also offers a storage room for student riders, featuring space for up to 50 bikes, an electronic access key for each bike owner and security cameras. For more information, contact the garage office at (312) 942-6594.
Zipcar
Students can sign up for Zipcar, a car-sharing service, for $15 per year by visiting the Zipcar website. Reservations start at just $8.50 per hour.
