Alumni volunteer opportunities

Whether you provide career advice to current students or serve as a class chair for your reunion, volunteering with the Office of Alumni Relations is a great way to connect with your classmates, former faculty and the next generation of proud, Rush-trained health care leaders.

Colleges and individual programs are always interested in alumni coming back to campus and lecturing on their career paths, fields of specialties and professional experiences. If you would like to participate in a lecture, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (312) 942-7199 or alumni@rush.edu.

Alumni volunteer opportunities include the following:

Other volunteer programs at Rush

Rush needs volunteers for programs in addition to our University-specific efforts, such as the following:

  • The Rush Community Services Initiative Program, or RCSIP, is focused on addressing health needs on the West Side of Chicago while providing Rush students, faculty and staff with valuable community experiences.
  • Rush Volunteer Services offers several nonclinical opportunities to make a difference for our patients and serve our West Side Chicago community. From providing wheelchair support for patients to conducting tours with schools, professional groups and community organizations, Volunteer Services can help you find an opportunity to match your interest and desired level of involvement.
