The Section of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry provides psychiatric and behavioral health care in a variety of settings for individuals with complex medical and surgical conditions, including cardiovascular disease, lung disease, organ transplantation, neurological diseases, substance use disorders, and cancer.
Members of the Section of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry are active in a wide range of efforts to improve care and the interface of medical and psychiatric illness.
Clinical services within the section include the Inpatient Consultation-Liaison Service and Outpatient Services in Transplant Psychiatry, Psycho-Social Oncology, Neuropsychiatry, and Collaborative Care.
Members of the section are active contributors to the education of psychiatric trainees, including medical students and residents in the General Psychiatry Residency Program and the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship Program.
