Welcome to the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

We are a small, tight-knit group of Physiatrists committed to serving our Chicagoland Community. Our program has always placed a strong emphasis on family: we love each other, we support each other, and we grow together as one cohesive unit.

Our residency is located in the heart of a diverse city allowing our residents to be exposed to a wide spectrum of patient populations who come from all walks of life. Since we are located inside of Rush University Medical Center, we have the vast opportunities to collaborate with nationally known programs in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Orthopedics, Geriatrics, and Internal Medicine for clinical care, research, and education. Our educational experiences are vast and without limitation.  Our program has been lucky to have amazing, enthusiastic faculty who are not only innovating teachers but wonderful mentors to our residents.

Sincerely,

Sheila Dugan, MD, Chairperson Department of PM&R
Ravi Kasi, MD, Residency Program Director
Andrew Patton, DO, Assistant Residency Program Director
Pamela Hurtado (pamela_hurtado@rush.edu), Residency Program Coordinator
