Located in the heart of Chicago, where one third of the community is African-American and one third is Latino, research at the College focuses on the health needs of a highly diverse population and the elimination of health disparities. Our faculty leads a range of funded multidisciplinary studies targeting the prevention and treatment of health problems at the bedside, and in the community.

The Center for Clinical Research and Scholarship (CCRS) is an academic-practice partnership to encourage clinical inquiry and promote clinical nursing research and evidence-based projects to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes. Fundamental to the success of the Center is the integration of practice, research and education through collaboration between college-based faculty and hospital-based clinicians.
