Rush College of Nursing received top rankings in the 2025 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools” survey, including a placement of No. 1 among nursing programs in Illinois.
All six traditionally ranked Doctor of Nursing Practice tracks are among the top five nationwide in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings released on April 8. Rush also ranks No. 1 among nursing specialty programs in Illinois.
The College of Nursing ranked in the top five in six categories:
- DNP Leadership (No. 2)
- Adult Gerontology, Primary Care (No. 2)
- Pediatric, Primary Care (No. 2)
- Psychiatric Mental Health (No. 3)
- Adult Gerontology, Acute Care (No. 3)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (No. 4)
The College of Nursing also ranked No. 17 in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree category. The Nurse Anesthesia program was also recognized by U.S. News & World Report for its strength and contributions to the field. The Generalist Entry Master's program was ranked No. 34 nationally and No. 2 in Illinois.
