As an integrated department within the College of Nursing, our Faculty Practice program matches expert faculty clinicians and nursing students with partner sites to deliver comprehensive nursing services to a variety of patient populations. Our partners include non-profit social service organizations, academic institutions, private health care providers and general businesses. Outcomes from our partnerships are outstanding and include improved health biometrics, decreased health care costs, and high partner and patient satisfaction.

- Consultation services for children in foster families in a community organization

The College of Nursing's Faculty Practice delivers nursing services and direct care to diverse populations at more than 20 on sites across Chicago. One of these sites is a clinic at St. Leonard's Ministries. St. Leonard's provides formerly incarcerated men and women with housing, employment and educational services to help people transition back into the community. The Faculty Practice clinic manages health needs and fill gaps as St. Leonard's residents work toward establishing primary care providers for the time when they leave.
U.S. News ranks the College of Nursing in the top 1 percent of Doctor of Nursing Practice programs and in the top 3 percent of Master of Science in Nursing programs.
We offer clinical experience and expertise from faculty practitioners and students from the RUSH University College of Nursing, which has four programs ranked first in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
