Overview
Each degree program includes a minimum of three standard pages:
- Landing page (Program page content type)
- Admissions page (Basic page content type)
- Curriculum page (Basic page content type)
The Landing page is a gateway to all information about a specific program. The landing page should provide an opportunity to introduce the user to the program and provide a pathway for the user to explore further. It helps prospective students:
- Learn high-level information about the program
- Understand program details, like requirements for graduation
- Understand why they should choose to apply
- Learn about career options post-graduation
- See related or similar programs
- Provide a gateway to important program details like program-specific admissions, curriculum, and tuition information

Section (Component) Description Introduction (WYSIWYG) Approximately 100 words, divided into short paragraphs and/or bulleted lists (keep each sentence to 20 words or less)
First, concisely explain/define what the program offers (ideally in 40-60 words).
Be sure to start the first sentence with the name of the program. Think of this as defining the purpose of a program for someone who is unfamiliar and looking to find out what it teaches.
Then, if needed, use remaining words* to give additional important distinctions about the program; could include mention of ranking or ranking badges.
On-page Links (Program Anchored Links) Links to the major sections throughout the page. Primary Calls to Action (Program Quick Links Link to admission and curriculum pages:
- [Program Name] Admissions
- [Program Name] Curriculum
- Apply Now: link to the application
Fast Facts (Program Statistics) There should be 3-5 facts; can be a mix of word-based facts and by-the-numbers facts.
Fast facts topics include: program type, location, length, class size, tuition, pass rates, etc.
Note: fact headings should by in title case and not be linked in this section

Gives users an understanding of what makes RUSH’s approach to this particular program different; example: hands-on experience, specific teaching styles, etc.
Program Length and Location (WYSIWYG) 100-200 words, divided into short paragraphs and/or bulleted lists (keep each sentence to 20 words or less)
Gives users an understanding of how long it takes to complete the program or how many credits are required; whether it’s online/in person/both; provides an opportunity to link back to the program-specific curriculum page
Cost & Financial Aid (WYSIWYG) Initial 1-2 sentences to show that RUSH recognizes that cost is a major factor for students.
Example: We know your education is a big investment. We want to make sure you have all the information to be able to make the best financial decisions for you and your family.
Followed by a program cost table: tells users the cost per credit and total program cost; include a link below the table to the university-wide tuition informationLastly, include 100-200 words (keep each sentence to 20 words or less) about any program-specific financial aid opportunities and link to the university-wide financial aid information. If no program-specific financial aid exists, just include a link to the university-wide information
Hear From Our Students (Featured Media - 1 column, Media Cards) Program-specific student videos or news stories can be embedded in this section. Career Opportunities (WYSIWYG) 100-200 words, divided into short paragraphs and/or bulleted lists (keep each sentence to 20 words or less)
Gives users an understanding of what they could do with their degree; alumni profiles tied to the specific program can be embedded in this section
Be sure to include careers / jobs that receive the most search interest. Information we commonly see people seeking out that we would want to include here:
- common responsibilities of the role
- common work settings
- projected job demand
- salary information (very frequently searched)

Add a Program Statistics component for the Fast Facts section. Most programs have the following at minimum:
- Location
- Program Type
- Program Length
- Average Class Size
- Tuition
Guide
- Title: "Fast Facts: [Program Name]"
- Statistics: Add a program statistic for each bullet point (maximum of 6 statistics allowed)
- Title: Statistic type, including colon (e.g. “Tuition:”)
- Data: Statistic value (numbers + a few words), including the asterisk to indicate footnote, if present
- Text: Additional words, if needed – use for longer/explanatory text, like “per credit hour” in a Tuition statistic or “(Remote and in-person)” in a Location statistic
- Icons: Place an icon from the image library to accompany each statistic you add.
