At Rush University, we believe that basic, clinical and translational research activities serve as the foundation for advances in patient care. Our graduate students are introduced to research related to medical laboratory science early on — in the first academic quarter — through journal clubs and seminars.
Within our program, we have forged partnerships with physicians and scientists across a wide range of scientific fields, including cell biology, cancer/tumor biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, microbiology and neurobiology. Rush fosters a collaborative environment where researchers of all levels work together to address scientific problems with an impact on the community and public health.
