Cognitive Resilience and Neuropsychology Research

Among the most widely recognized and long-standing programs of its kind in the nation, the Cognitive Resilience and Neuropsychology Program at Rush University Medical Center is committed to the pursuit of state-of-the-art clinical research. Our research endeavors are highly interdisciplinary, involving collaborations not only with our Rush colleagues in neurology and neurosurgery but also with experts across the globe.

Our mission

We aspire to advance our knowledge of brain-behavior relationships and leverage this knowledge to develop interventions that maximize quality of life and independence among individuals with cognitive and emotional challenges. The intervention-focused research is a major initiative of the newly opened Rush Center for Cognitive Resilience, which is devoted to the promotion of cognitive health in the Chicagoland area.
