Applications should be submitted to the Electronic Residency Application Service.
Please also submit the following via ERAS:
- Two letters of recommendation from professional sources, current mentors preferred
- A letter of recommendation from an interventional radiologist
- A letter of recommendation from the director of your most recent training program
Applicants must have completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and be board-certified or board-eligible in diagnostic radiology. Candidates with a “conditional” status in the board exam may apply.
All candidates must register with the Society of Interventional Radiology - National Residency Matching Program.
International medical graduates must have completed a residency in diagnostic radiology in their country of origin and have a valid and current radiology board certification from their country of origin. They must be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in Illinois and have a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certification, which requires clearance of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination steps 1, 2 and 3.
Note: We review applications in conjunction with the Rush University Diagnostic Radiology Residency. If interested in the VIR-Integrated program, please only apply to our VIR-Integrated program. Please be sure to submit your application by October 18, 2024 11:59pm.
