Selection and Scheduling Process for Visiting Physicians

A visiting resident must complete at least one year of accredited residency training and be in at least their second year of training to qualify.

Rush GME accepts visiting residents from Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited residency and fellowship programs in the United States. All rotations for visiting residents must be approved by your home institution, the RUSH specialty program, and the GME Office.

The selection process is competitive, and only the most qualified candidates will be accepted, as there are a limited number of spots available at any given time. Physicians interested in the Allergy and Immunology visiting resident program should contact our department at Jia_Li@rush.edu for more information.
