This residency training program provides you with specialized research, instruction and clinical training in the cancer radiation treatment-related areas of medical physics. You will receive academic and clinical experience to make you eligible for certification in therapeutic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology.

Only candidates who graduated from a CAMPEP accredited graduate program or a CAMPEP approved certificate program, and hold a PhD degree in Medical Physics, Applied Physics or Engineering will be considered for admission into this residency program.

The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research and to be able to learn clinical and research aspects of radiation oncology physics. Good communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with other professionals are highly desirable.

The selected candidates will be invited for a virtual interview. Interviews will include a 10 to 15 minute presentation on a scientific topic of your choice.
