Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship

The gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship is a three-year Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited program providing training in digestive diseases and endoscopic procedures. Upon completion, you will be board-eligible for certification in gastroenterology, with a fourth year of training in advanced endoscopy also available.

RUSH University Medical Center is a tertiary referral center ranked among the nation's top 40. Home to one of the Midwest’s most active liver transplant centers, RUSH attracts a wide variety of gastrointestinal and hepatologic illnesses, exposing fellows to a broad range of pathologies. Skilled faculty lead the program and include 18 gastroenterologists, 6 hepatologists, a nutritional epidemiologist and three gastrointestinal researchers.
