Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university earned prior to matriculation.
- The program will accept a BS/BA degree from a foreign institution for admission into the MLS.MS, CLM.MS and CLMB.MS programs with the following stipulations:
- The foreign transcript must be evaluated by World Education Services or Educational Credential Evaluators. The evaluation must result in a determination that the student has earned a BS degree equivalent to a U.S. BS degree.
- The applicant must satisfy the College of Health Sciences’ policy for the TOEFL exam.
- The program will accept a BS/BA degree from a foreign institution for admission into the MLS.MS, CLM.MS and CLMB.MS programs with the following stipulations:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
- ASCP or NCA certification as MT or MLS (ASCP)
- One year, full-time immunohematology experience
How to Apply to the Bachelor of Blood Bank Technology Certificate Program
Take the following steps to apply:
- Complete an application using the Allied Health Centralized Application Service.
- You will also need the following ready to submit to AHCAS:
- Official transcripts from every U.S. college or university attended.
- International course evaluations for all coursework completed outside the United States.
- Three professional recommendations.
- References should be acquainted with your most recent academic experiences.
- AHCAS will contact each reference with instructions on how to complete an online evaluation.
- Personal statement.
- Resume or CV.
- Submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores if your native language is not English.
You will be informed if you are required to complete the secondary RUSH Application.
Please do not complete the secondary application until you have been asked.
