Program Prerequisites
Coursework highlighting quantitative ability is required. Examples include courses in accounting, statistics, and microeconomics.
Admission requirements
You must have the following qualifications prior to enrollment in the residential track:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
GRE scores are not required.
At this time, we are not able to accept international applicants who require an F-1 visa.
How to Apply to the Master of Science in Health Systems Management Program
Complete the following steps to apply to the residential track:
- Complete an application using the Healthcare Administration, Management and Policy Centralized Application Service, or HAMPCAS.
- Have the following ready to submit directly to HAMPCAS:
- Official transcripts from every U.S. college or university attended. An international course evaluation is required for coursework completed outside the United States.
- Name and email address of three references. HAMPCAS will contact each reference with instructions on how to complete an online evaluation.
- Personal statement.
- Resume.
- Submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores if your native language is not English.
- Participate in a virtual interview with our admissions committee members.
You will be contacted if you are required to complete the secondary RUSH Application.
