Mission
The Military Medicine Interest Group (MMIG) aims to facilitate a network of prior, current, and future military members with an interest or experience in military medicine. We hope to be the hub at RUSH University for veterans to connect, and for new/future service members to find mentorship as they embark on their journey with the US armed forces. Additionally, the MMIG provides a way for Health Professions Scholars (HPSP) to stay connected and up to date with military medicine and to create avenues for mentorship within their specific field of medicine through regular meetings, networking with prior service members, and connections with other schools involved with military medicine.
