Find out what clinical services our department provides at Rush University Medical Center.
With one of the oldest diagnostic radiology services departments in the Midwest, Rush Medical College has had a long-standing commitment to radiology education ― and has trained some of the nation's most prominent radiologists. Our trainees routinely go onto successful careers in academic and private practice settings.
Our students, residents, and fellows benefit immensely from our partnership with Rush University Medical Center, a large, tertiary medical center on Chicago’s west side. They are exposed to extensive disease pathologies, high case volumes, and leading-edge technologies. Through it all, they are continuously guided by our experienced faculty, who are practicing physicians as well as researchers on top of the latest innovations and discoveries.
Our brand new Boler Center for Advanced Imaging is one of the most progressive in the country. The equipment at Rush is state-of-the-art: We have a number of CT scanners (including several dual-energy flash machines), the latest in 3T Magnetom MRI variants and modular cylindrical SPECT (McSPECT) for high-resolution brain SPECT imaging.
