Rush University Diversity and Inclusion

Mission

Rush University Diversity & Inclusion, or RUDI, was founded by a group of passionate students who saw an urgent need for discussions surrounding racial injustices amongst university campuses nationwide. RUDI provides a safe and brave space for all persons at Rush to share thoughts and experiences that deal with social (in) justice, along with diversity and inclusion. The aim is to provide opportunities to have robust discussions, present ideologies and educate one another. Our overall goal is to infuse cultural competence and humility throughout our Rush community, so that together, we can improve access, eliminate racial and ethnic disparities, and provide more culturally competent, high quality care to the diverse populations that we serve.

Annual Events

RUDI Article Club – RUDI Article Club aims to empower all members of the RUSH community through education and conversation about current events related to diversity and inclusion.
