Set in the Illinois Medical District near Chicago’s Loop — the nation’s largest urban medical district — Rush University Medical Center is part of a hub of leading-edge patient care, research and education. It has won a wide range of distinctions, detailed here.

In 2012, we opened a new hospital that has already become a Chicago icon. The distinctive butterfly shape of the Tower building was designed from the inside out. Our nurses and doctors worked closely with architects to create the right environment for the highest-quality patient care.

Our campus also houses dozens of physician practices, classrooms and research labs. And we put your safety first with our own dedicated security services.
