The Rush Copley Heart Symposium promises to provide an in-depth overview of diagnosis and treatment related to all aspects of cardiovascular disease including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, structural heart disease and heart failure. Experts in the field will highlight the pathophysiology of various cardiovascular disease processes and offer the most up to date, innovative and evidence based, guideline directed therapies for their patients. This will be a one day, live, in-person conference with speakers who are experts in their field from all Rush campuses.

Target Audience: This activity is designed for medical students, interns, residents, fellows, attending physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. CME/CNE/Pharmacy credit is available to claim for attendees.
Objectives - At the conclusion of this course participants will be able to:
- Outline a comprehensive overview of recent advances in all the cardiovascular subspecialties of interventional and structural heart disease, electrophysiology, heart and imaging.
- Review percutaneous therapies for left and right sided valvular heart disease.
- Discuss novel therapeutics and advances in treatment of atrial fibrillation and left atrial appendage occluder devices to reduce stroke risks in patients not on anticoagulation.
- Explain novel percutaneous therapies for advanced coronary artery and peripheral vascular disease including CTO treatment, AAA treatment, renal artery stenting and renal denervation.
- Recognize the advances in diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, guideline directed medical therapy and advanced therapies patients with heart failure.
- Discuss innovations in CT and MRI imaging for cardiovascular conditions.
