Stefani Beard, DO, is a board-certified family physician and an assistant professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at RUSH University. With a background in nutrition, she integrates her nutrition experience into her primary care practice to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to patient care. Her compassionate medical care includes managing medically complex patients who see many specialists, treating acutely sick patients of all ages, counseling patients on long term reversible contraception (IUD/Nexplanon), and caring for the underserved including LGBTQIA+ patients.

She graduated from Florida State University with honors in nutrition and medical ethics before continuing her education at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Virginia Tech where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her medical training at West Suburban Family Medicine Center in Oak Park, Illinois. Additionally, she has been honored to serve on the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians Board to advocate for the rights of physicians and patients alike, working to advance the health of the American public.
