Shahid Ekbal, MD, is the medical director for the RUSH urology practice in Chicago. He is a member of numerous societies including the Chicago Urological Society, Chicago Medical Society, the American Society of Clinical Urologists and the International Society for Impotence Research. He has participated in national collaborative bladder cancer research activities. Ekbal is co-investigator in a multicenter trial on the efficacy of Botox instillation in the urinary bladder for refractory incontinence.
