Biography

Jonathan L. Kaplan, MD, is an assistant professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is dually trained in internal medicine and psychiatry. His clinical work includes Psycho-Oncology, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Integrated Behavioral Health, and Collaborative Care Psychiatry. Additionally, he is the Medical Director of Cancer Psychiatry, providing direct care for patients experiencing psychiatric distress associated with cancer and the consulting psychiatrist for the collaborative care model of psychiatry at the Cancer Center. He treats a wide array of disorders emerging at the intersection of internal medicine, oncology, and psychiatry.
