The Headache Medicine Fellowship provides extensive, specialized training to manage patients with a wide variety of headaches.
Program advantages
- Gain expertise in diagnosing and managing patients with all types of headache disorders, specifically migraine and other primary headache disorders
- Identify secondary headache disorders and collaborate with specialists
- Partnership with Diamond Headache Clinic, a renowned headache center with unique resources to utilize the most current treatment modalities and multidisciplinary approach to outpatient and inpatient management while incorporating alternative approaches in patient care
- Elective rotations in sleep medicine, pain clinic, and physical medicine and rehabilitation
Accreditation
The Headache Medicine Fellowship is accredited by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS).
Certification
Upon graduation, the fellows are eligible for the Headache Medicine subspecialty certification examination offered by UCNS.
How to apply
We offer one position each year to eligible candidates who have completed an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program.
