The Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago is an intensive one-year program of advanced clinical training. We accept one fellow per year from one of three applicant tracks:
- Training after completion of internal medicine residency (Non-ACGME accredited track)
- Combined Advanced/Transplant Hepatology training during gastroenterology fellowship at RUSH University Medical Center (ACGME accredited track)
- "Fourth Year" Transplant Hepatology training after gastroenterology fellowship (ACGME Accredited track)
Program Highlights
Since 1987, the RUSH Liver Transplant Program has performed over 1,600 liver transplants and has a long track record of excellence. Fellows with the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program receive a broad range of inpatient and outpatient experiences, setting a solid foundation for an outstanding career in Transplant Hepatology.
