DACA Applicants

The mission of RUSH is to improve the health of the individuals and diverse communities we serve through the integration of outstanding patient care, education, research and community partnerships. We recognize the need for a diverse workforce to achieve this goal and stand by the principle that equal opportunity and diversity in employment, education and the delivery of health care are essential to successfully fulfill our mission.

Current Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, recipients are eligible and encouraged to apply to RUSH Medical College.

We recognize the need for a diverse workforce to achieve our mission. Equal opportunity and diversity in employment, education and the delivery of health care are essential.

At RUSH Medical College, we support DACA. DACA recipients contribute to the educational goals of our learning environment and the medical profession as a whole.

In Illinois, DACA recipients are ineligible for federal and state financial aid for their education. However, DACA recipients receive equal consideration for our institutional scholarships.

While we are working on developing new funding opportunities, the cost of attendance is the responsibility of the student.
