- Entry term: Spring (January), summer (May), fall (September)
- Application cycle: September to August
- Recommended application deadline: At least two months prior to the anticipated entry term
Admission requirements
You must meet the following qualifications to be considered for admission:
- Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory, biological or a related science earned from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university earned prior to matriculation
- We accept a BS/BA degree from a foreign institution for admission into the MLS.MS, CLM.MS and CLMB.MS programs with the following stipulations:
- The foreign transcript must be evaluated by World Education Services or Educational Credential Evaluators
- The evaluation must result in a determination that the student has earned a bachelor’s degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree
- We accept a BS/BA degree from a foreign institution for admission into the MLS.MS, CLM.MS and CLMB.MS programs with the following stipulations:
- The applicant must satisfy the College of Health Sciences policy for the TOEFL exam
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or other certification (other certifications will be considered on an individual basis)
- Two years of experience working in an accredited laboratory
How to Apply to the Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Management Program
Take the following steps to apply:
- Complete an application using the Allied Health Centralized Application Service (AHCAS).
- You will also need the following ready to submit to AHCAS:
- Official transcripts from every U.S. college or university attended.
- International course evaluations for all coursework completed outside the United States.
- Name and email address of three references. AHCAS will contact each reference with instructions.
- Personal statement.
- Resume or CV.
- Submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores if your native language is not English.
- Participate in an interview with program faculty.
You will be informed if you are required to complete the secondary RUSH Application.
Please do not complete the secondary application until you have been asked to do so.
